Positive Displacement Pump
A positive displacement pump moves fluids by repeatedly enclosing a fixed volume and moving it mechanically. Its pumping action is cyclic and driven by pistons, screws, gears, rollers, diaphragms, or vanes. Positive displacement pumps add energy to the fluid by the applications of force to the liquid via a mechanical device such as a piston or plunger.
Together with access to a wide range of pumps and valves, Fluid Dynamics has a team of highly experienced technicians to maintain and service most pumps and valves throughout Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
