Centrifugal Pump
Centrifugal pumps are the most widely used pumps in the world and convert mechanical energy into hydraulic energy using centrifugal force to efficiently move fluids through the pump and into the discharge pipe as pressure energy. Its main components are the impeller that rotates to impart velocity to the fluid; the casing which is stationary, surrounds the impeller and directs the flow of the fluid; and the shaft which connects the impeller to the motor causing the impeller to rotate. Centrifugal pumps are widely used in industries such as water supply, agriculture, chemical processing and HVAC.
Together with access to a wide range of pumps and valves, Fluid Dynamics has a team of highly experienced technicians to maintain and service most pumps and valves throughout Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
