Ball Valve

A ball valve is a flow control device which uses a hollow, pivoting ball to control fluid flowing through a pipe. When open, the hole through the middle of the ball is in line with the flow and closed when it is pivoted 90 degrees blocking the flow. When open the valve handle aligns with the flow and is perpendicular to it when closed making it easy to confirm its status. The shut position 1/4 turn could be in either clockwise or counter-clockwise direction.

Together with access to a wide range of pumps and valves, Fluid Dynamics has a team of highly experienced technicians to maintain and service most pumps and valves throughout Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
