The Victorian Defence Alliance – Maritime (VDAM) facilitates the bringing together of Defence Primes and manufacturers and suppliers of Defence oriented equipment.
VDAM’s Mission Statement reads:
- Increase national and global supply opportunities with prime defence contractors and within the alliance.
- Help industry participants bid for work in all aspects of the Australian Defence maritime system programs and other government maritime programs.
- Provide support for opportunities arising from related research and development programs.
VDAM aims to deliver increased capability to Defence services by promoting collaboration between Defence based industry and the consumers of Defence materiel who require suppliers with the high level skills and the right attitude required to meet the demands of the Defence industry.
Fluid Dynamics’ Managing Director is Chairman of VDAM which is an initiative of the Victorian Government. He would be delighted to assist any company throughout the world that is genuinely involved in Defence projects seeking an introduction to Australian Government bodies, Primes or manufacturers, suppliers or agents engaged in Defence work.
