Fluid Dynamics has been representing AKG in the Australasian area since 1981. AKG is Germany’s preeminent manufacturer of high quality aluminium core since 1919. With the full technical support of AKG, we have been supplying custom designed and manufactured aluminium core heat exchangers to our valued customers for nearly 30 years using AKG’s German high quality, aluminium core.

From Tradition to Progress
Both Fluid Dynamics and AKG are family owned companies. AKG was founded as Autokühlergesellschaft ” (‘Automotive Cooler Company’). Both companies have continuously expanded their expertise to new applications, resulting in a major portion of their respective revenues coming from markets such as mining and construction equipment, air compressors, industrial coolers, agriculture and forestry equipment, automotive vehicles, railed vehicles, power generation and special applications.
As a leading supplier of customer-orientated solutions, AKG has acquired a worldwide reputation for producing high-quality coolers and heat exchangers. The AKG Group, with its 2,800 employees, produce over 2.5 million heat exchangers in various designs each year. To achieve this, 12 business units, as well as three additional marketing companies around the globe, are in operation twenty-four hours a day.

AKG has more than 150 highly qualified engineers in research, development and applications who work closely with Fluid Dynamics to develop heat exchangers and customer specific cooling systems. Innovative production processes emphasise quality, short lead-times and environmentally safe manufacturing processes.
